Connecting with the
right people
People are one of the most important factors that God wants
to use so that you can fulfil your plans.
Certain things on how to recognise good people
Be in the right atmosphere and surround yourself with the
right people
Have a relationship that builds confidence
Be with people that encourage, motivate you as motivation
stimulates you for higher achievement.
People that stimulate you for creativity; people that give
you ideas.
People that have the ability to comfort and help you because
there are times where you can experience hardship.
People that accept you
People that confront you when you are not doing the right
thing. They challenge you in what you do. But when these people confront you on
what you are doing, they should also give you an alternative on how to do the
right thing.
How to identify them
Mentor: Someone
who has reached or has gone ahead of you to where you also want to get to.
Coach: A person
who helps you makes critical decision when you are being objective. Sometimes
your friend or family can be your coach.
Connectors: Person
who have access to resources. Connectors do not usually stay in your life for
long but sometimes they do until you achieve your goals.
Realists:
Sometimes, these people are not real but some are. These people are people that
say that things are possible when you think they are not possible; therefore
you might think that they are just joking because you already see things
impossible. These people push you and challenge your ideas. (Exodus 18 vs.
13-24).
Visionary: Someone
that inspires you on how to do things. Normally, they make you think about the
journey that you are about to take.
A partner or
associate: Someone you work hand in hand with. Both of you share ideas,
have the same desire and probably going the same journey as you.
Some keys to use on how to identify these people mentioned
above or their character
Expressing themselves
Seek: Look for
common interests
Remember the remarkable things about the person or people:
amazing things they talk about or things they do.
Ask effective
questions: Cultivate a good way of
asking questions so that you will be able to find out who they are. Be curious
as there are some hidden things you have to know about them.
Read proverbs 15 vs. 22 and 13 vs. 20
Romans 16 vs. 1-6 and 21-24
Remain Blessed.
